New Battlefield 3: End Game Screens and Details Appear

There’s one reason fans have chosen Battlefield 3 over other first-person war shooters. The level of realism that Battlefield brings to the table is unlike most other experiences out there. With multiple facets of the war machine, keeping up with authenticity covers many routes. Prior expansions took to the air, and then ground with the heavies in Armored Kill. Now, the battlefield is further expanded with a slew of light vehicles and motorbikes.

The downloadable content promises the return of Capture the Flag and Air Superiority. As mentioned before, the return of lightweight vehicles are on the rise. Shooting down enemy planes should come easy with the use of lightweight AA vehicles now included. The pack will launch March 2013 for a price of 1200 MS Points, and $14.99 on PlayStation 3/PC.

Here are all of the details from the release:

  • Fight all year round in four vast and breath-taking maps including Kiasar Railroad and Operation Riverside. Each location is inspired by one of the four seasons, providing distinct terrain and visuals, all designed for high speed combat
  • Jump in the seat of three new vehicles including the fast and agile dirt bike, and two new AA vehicles
  • Return of the classic Capture the Flag and Air Superiority game modes
  • In the skies, the new dropship introduces the abilty to turn the tide with rapid deployment air drops of troop transports
