Halo 4 Getting Team Doubles Playlist
343 Industries has revealed that next week’s matchmaking update for Halo 4 will include than Team Doubles, the popular gametype which pits a team two players against several other teams of two.
Team Doubles will come in three different game types: Infinity Doubles, Doubles Pro and Doubles CTF.
Infinity Doubles is basically classic Infinity Slayer but in two-on-two form. The game type supports custom loadouts, radar and instant respawns. Doubles Pro is much like Slayer Pro, which removes radar, personal ordnance and instant respawn. There will also be fixed loadouts to choose from.
From the announcement, here are the available Doubles Pro loadouts:
Loadout 1:
Starting Weapon – DMR
Secondary Weapon – Magnum
Armor Abilities – None
Tactical Mod – Resupply
Support Mod – Dexterity
Loadout 2:
Starting Weapon – BR
Secondary Weapon – Magnum
Armor Abilities – None
Tactical Mod – Resupply
Support Mod – Dexterity
Loadout 3:
Starting Weapon – LightRifle
Secondary Weapon – Magnum
Armor Abilities – None
Tactical Mod – Resupply
Support Mod – Dexterity
Loadout 4:
Starting Weapon – Carbine
Secondary Weapon – Magnum
Armor Abilities – None
Tactical Mod – Resupply
Support Mod – Dexterity
Finally, we have CTF Doubles which is your typical capture the flag game type, but designed for Doubles matches. The game type supports custom loadouts and radar, and the respawn time is set to 10 seconds. The rules:
- Five flags to win
- Three second return
- 15-second reset
- Flag does not need to be home to score
