EA’s Origin Coming to Mac
Electronic Arts has announced today that their PC game client, Origin, will finally be making its way to OS operating systems. Starting today, Mac users in the United States and United Kingdom can check out the Alpha version of the program which will only be open to a few thousand users.
The Mac service will include cloud storage, auto-patching, and friend lists. Like Steam, you will be able to add non-Origin titles to your game library as well. A free copy of the puzzle game Bookworm is being offered to everyone who takes part in the Alpha testing. Once Origin is officially released on Mac, the game will remain in the participant’s library.
According to EA, Origin for make will launch “soon”.
