Assassin’s Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington Episodes Priced and Prepped
At first, you might think “How can George Washington be a tyrant? That never happened!” Then, you’ll realize you are playing a game as an assassin reliving the memories of your ancestors through time.
The first of the episodes which is titled The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy is slated for a Feb. 19 release date on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Nintendo Wii U fans will be a little behind, but having the DLC available on the console is promising enough. It seems that most companies have already forgot about third party support for the newly released Nintendo console.
The episode brings us back in the shoes of Ratonhnhaké:ton aka Connor. His brand of justice will once again be seen throughout the newly positioned United States–with a catch. His efforts are now to dethrone newly crowned king, Mr. George Washington himself. This alternate timeline will break down into three episodes giving more depth to an already expansive title.
The price for the content may be a bit deep for some pockets. Owners of the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass can pick up the complete episode pack. It can be purchased as a standalone for $9.99/800 MS Points or $29.99/2400 MS Points for all three. Those who still have a few GameStop or Best Buy gift cards lingering from the holidays can nab the DLC at the mentioned retailers.
At this point there is no date for the Nintendo Wii U release. However, the release states “All Assassin’s Creed III downloadable content packs will also be available on the Wii U.” So Nintendo fans don’t get your breechcloth in a bunch just yet.
