Plesioth, Zinogre Introduced in New Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Screenshots
A hunter faces Zinogre alone.
Capcom’s newest iteration of Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, hits stores in March, and the developer recently released some new screenshots of Plesioth and Zinogre.
Plesioth, a Piscine Wyvern, is one of many new additions to what is essentially an updated version of Monster Hunter Tri.
The monster, now a nuisance both on land and in water (water battles weren’t featured in earlier games), is one of the original monsters from the series’ first title for PlayStation 2.
Veteran hunters may like the addition of battling Plesioth underwater, but some won’t enjoy the return of the hip-check move. The acrobatic Zinogre, another new addition, is also featured on the Capcom-Unity website.
For those looking forward to smiting monsters and wearing their hides for armor, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate releases for both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U on March 31. Until then, Capcom is releasing new information on the game’s monsters, weapons and other interesting items on the Capcom-Unity site. Check it daily for new tidbits of info.
