The Walking Dead Retail Release Drops Dead Next Week
The series known as The Walking Dead has captured both our eyes as a TV show but now holds our thumbs at bay. The digital success of the game on PC, Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Store will allow the game to see yet another marketplace.
Those looking to buy a physical copy of the game don’t have to look much further than December 11, 2012. That is, if you live in North America and Canada.
The disc will house all five episodes from the series for $29.99. Much like any other mainstream game release, the limited Collector’s Edition will be priced much higher but include some extras. The set will run $69.99 and will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There are just a few days left to place your pre-order, so hurry into a GameStop nearest you for the exclusive.
GameStop Exclusive Content:
- The Walking Dead Compendium One: over 1,000 pages of Robert Kirkman’s original comic book, collecting the first 48 issues of Rick Grimes’ story
BestBuy stores on the other hand will simply have varied cover art and be the only place where you can pick up the set on disc for PC.
