This Wii U Indie Title Shows off Its Feathery Multiplayer
Platform: Wii U
Release Date: November 18, 2012
Developer: Broken Rules
During E3 2012 there was a lot of buzz surrounding the Nintendo Wii U. We were finally moving past the tech demos that were shown the year before and we knew AAA releases were on their way.
Even more exciting than these AAA titles could be found in something that we knew very little about. Indie games have made their mark on the current generation of consoles and it was only a matter of time before they leapt into the realm of “next-gen”. There wasn’t much known about the Wii U indie title Chasing Aurora, but now we’ve got plenty of visual candy.
The game features a physics based map where players can literally fly through the air at top speeds. The game focuses around the fantasy of human flight and seems like it will provide that magic for players.
The multiplayer of the game will make full use of the Wii U GamePad. Others participating in these notions of airborne grandeur must grab a Wii remote to join. This is also a plus for an indie game as most do not feature a multiplayer aspect to the game, which is something to be said about the future of games like its kind. The game is also marked by its beautifully sleek art style which can be seen in the videos and screen above.
Below you’ll find some of the multiplayer modes for Chasing Aurora.
