Doin’ the Michael Crabtree Dance Gives The Boys and Girls Club a Chance
Touchdown dances can be translated into more things than just a celebration on the field. End of the year bonus? BOOM! You become “Shaky Legs McGee” and windmill arms start to flail.
Much like the translation of the touchdown dance outside of the football realm, Michael Crabtree and Ubisoft are looking to expand that experience. The Hip-Hop Dance Experience solely focuses on a specific style of music much like some of the Ubisoft published dance titles before it. What better company to handle the development than that of iNis (The Black Eyed Peas Experience) to bring this title to fruition. Not to mention one of the best receivers in the NFL to give it a nod.
“Back in the day, I remember watching guys like Deion Sanders and Terrell Owens score touchdowns and being just as excited to watch their celebration dances as I was to see them score,” Michael Crabtree said. “I’m hyped to finally have my own signature move that blends my southern Texas roots with some of that San Francisco Bay Area flavor.”
Now, every time that Michael does his touchdown dance, the San Francisco 49er and Ubisoft will make a charitable donation to The Boys and Girls Club of America. Fans can also help name the dance by tweeting to him. From the looks of it—the club just might become a walking bank roll.
The Hip-Hop Dance Experience will launch on the Xbox 360 and Wii November 13, 2012 for $39.99.
