Game & Watch: Nintendo Wii U Stations Line the US
“Dude, there is a freakin’ Dreamcast at Toys ‘R’ Us to play!”
You might be surprised how excited we gamers get at the sight of a playable kiosk. Looking back on my younger days there was no doubt that the employees at my local Toys ‘R’ US were tired of seeing us kids huddled around Sonic Adventure, damn near beating the game.
Nintendo has been a busy bee when it comes to implanting its latest console for general public to finally gets some hands-on time with the Wii replacement. In fact, Nintendo has rolled 5,000 here in the United States at various retailers. If you visit locations such as your local Target, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart and my favorite, Toys ‘R’ US, you’ll likely have a chance to play the games offered if there isn’t a line of folks as antsy as you.
Some locations simply house a video demo of all the launch titles and others will finally let you understand what exactly NintendoLand is. Other games include Super Mario Bros. U, SiNG PARTY, ZombiU and Rayman Legends.
If you simply haven’t found one already to sample hit this link here to check out the kiosk closest to you.
The Nintendo Wii U is set to launch on November 18, 2012. The Basic Set will run $299.99 and the Deluxe Set $349.99. Remember too that people who purchase the Deluxe Set will have the benefit of those extra digital title bonuses.
