Team Meat Reveals Their New Game Mew-Genics

Gamers who are familiar with Team Meat–the legendary developers who brought us such Indie gems as Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac–then it should be no surprise that their next game, Mew-Genics, features Edmund McMillen’s distinctly hilarious and wacky style. His artwork has defined the style for all of Team Meat’s games, and makes up a good part of the zaniness often found in Indie Gaming.

Mew-Genics! will deliver the standard crazy hilarity that have been a staple for Team Meat’s games, yet no hard information on the upcoming release has been revealed. Edmund McMillen had this to say on the official Super Meat Boy blog:

“Mew-Genics is by far the strangest project I’ve ever worked on.. and that’s saying something. Tommy and I are very happy with how development has been going on it and decided that Mew-Genics will be the next official Team Meat game. We don’t want to spoil too much here, but we can say the game will be randomly generated, strange and involve cats.”

Also Edmund assured that Team Meat is very much working on the new Super Meat Boy game, but they’d like to “push this little kitten out of their loins” first. Yeah…

For more information on Mew-Genics be sure to check Edmund’s official blog and stay tuned to the official Team Meat website.
