Spector Articulates on Alternate Universe Character Fate
Games often get docked for linear gameplay, something that developer Warren Spector seems to have set his cross-hairs on when developing the Epic Mickey series.
In the newest vignette, players welcome the use of the paint thinner to tackle various obstacles and missions. While this may seem like a simple game mechanic, there is more than meets the artists’ eye. Such characteristics as the “PlayStyle Matters” are incorporated.
This feature allows players to make choices within the game, but must also meet the consequences of these in the storyline and various interactions with characters. This is interesting to see how this will impact the forgotten areas and nostalgia from the Disney Park.
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is set to release Nov. 18, 2012.
