Many soccer fans that game are lucky to have their choice of simulation titles. Debating on which is better might lead you to playing a quick match to resolve the argument. Luckily, if you play that match on PES 2013 you will be glad to know that new downloadable content (DLC) will be dropping on consoles. The DLC will also be free of charge.

Konami announced today that its football simulator will be getting its first of three updates coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.

Here are a few additions to the online modes focused around the multiplayer and community modes:

  • Streamlined friend selection through pre-determined lists
  • New interface to track and monitor results
  • Players can now concede a match at half-time

Konami also announced its plans for the second batch of DLC which will later release. The new pack will include “all summer transfers, adds further UEFA elements, team updates and 11 new boot designs.”

Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 released on September 25, 2012 for $59.99. The DLC packs are free of charge and now available.
