Steam Adds Software to Its Digital Marketplace

With the inclusion of software, Steam isn’t just about buying games but now gives the tools needed to create them.

The new software store has a variety of helpful tools and programs such as  3DMark Vantage, GameMaker: Studio, and 3-D Coat to aid in the creation of amateur or professional games.

The software ranges from benchmark graphic testing and 3-D rendering to animation, giving everyday gamers access to powerful programs to bring their dreams to life. Also included are movie-making tools such as  Source Filmmaker and photo-editing programs like CameraBag 2.

Right now there are only a dozen or so programs in Steam’s software library, but many more tools are planned to be added. Check out the new additions to Steam’s online store with Steam Software and make your very own game today!
