Jump Into Post-Apocalyptic Chaos With Ravaged

To me, Ravaged is a mix of RAGE, Fallout, and Counter Strike with a stick of dynamite thrown into the mix. With incredible graphics, hilariously rude death animations and character reactions, a distinct post-apocalyptic style, and intense first-person multiplayer action, it’s hard to believe that Ravaged is an Indie Game.

Ravaged chronicles the war between two factions: the Resistance, which represent law and order and are the deputies of the lawless frontier, and the Scavengers, who are the murderous rebels who are hellbent on letting chaos reign supreme over the wasteland. The two factions fight for dwindling resources, disputed territory, and for their very lives in a series of skirmishes and bloody battles.

I have a feeling that Mad Max himself would be proud of the vehicles used in the game, which range from solid reinforced death-proof cars, tanks, and ATV’s to war-fitted helicopters for awesome aerial attacks. The weaponry is also quite impressive, ranging from automatics, pistols, sniper rifles, and huge RPG’s that make even bigger explosions.

Each of the weapons and vehicles also are styled to represent each faction: the Scavengers have that distinct post-apocalyptic design whereas the Resistance’s are more refined and well-crafted.

If you’re the type of gamer who loves insane and explosive first-person shooter action, then Ravaged may be the perfect fit. Pre-purchase Ravaged to get instant access to the on-going Beta so you can jump right into the chaos and wreak havoc!

Ravaged is now available for pre-order via Steam for $24.99 and will be released on Oct. 17, 2012 for PC. For more information please visit the game’s official website.
