EA Announces Medal of Honor: Warfighter Beta for Early October
From our previous hands-on with Medal of Honor: Warfighter, there is no doubt that Danger Close has set its sights on the competition. There’s nothing more empowering to a gamer than to have their input about a game be put into action.
With the announcement of the Beta opening up sometime early October, there is not doubt that both parties will be satisfied.
The Warfighter beta will take players into the realm of HotSpot–these randomly generated areas must be defended. The area played will be in Sarajevo Stadium in Bosnia, an area that was played in our hands-on with the title. There is an upper level of the stadium, which has mostly been torn apart due to the surrounding war. Various points, such as the base level of the building, can become treacherous deathtraps for enemies blindly running in.
Along with the announcement comes two other unlockables prior to launch. If three million downloads are achieved, the Linkin Park video “Castle of Glass” will be unlocked. Also, those who download the Beta will also be treated to 60 minutes of Double XP for the game’s launch in October.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is slated for Launch Oct. 23, 2012 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
