New Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise Trailers Prove He’s Not Stuffin’ Around
I can admit it, I was afraid to sleep with the lights off when I was a young child. It was something about those stuffed animals on my bookshelf that just creeped me out. I always envisioned them coming to life and pulling on my eyelids, or terrorizing me the minute I let my guard down.
Naughty Bear is the epitome of those childhood visions.
For those of you who are not familiar with the sequel, Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise is the follow up to the Behaviour Interactive title, Naughty Bear. Unlike its predecessor, this time the bad bear will be releasing on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network instead of in retail stores. When the bears ditch ‘Naughty and don’t bring him along on their timid island resort, he becomes unstitched–and so do they.
The game takes place on Paradise Island, and as you’ll see in the newly released trailers, there are more activities other than snorkeling and sea glass collecting to keep you busy. The game promises over 11 different areas, character customizations, and plenty of naughty-good fun.
Naughty Bear seemed to be received well by gamers, and is somewhat of a surprise to see the title go digital only. Even with it making a foot print solely over the Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network, after watching the trailers, it doesn’t look like this type of release will suck any of the fun out scrambling some stuffing.
Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise will be developed by Behaviour Interactive, hopefully providing ample amounts of debauchery as did the first Naughty Bear title. The game is set to release in “Mid-October” for a price of 1200 MS Points or $15 on the PSN.
