New Pokémon Black and White Version 2 Early Buyer and Game Details
If you’re already planning to pick up Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2, then getting your pre-order-on will benefit you.
Nintendo announced today that tossing out the change early for these titles will deliver the mythical creature, Genesect. For a limited time distribution, October 7-November 12th, players can download this Pokémon over a Wi-Fi connection. The creature was modified by Team Plasma and now boasts the Techno Blast as one of its moves, which you can thank Ghetsis for basically delivering him right to our doorstep.
“Not only can players dive into a brand new adventure on Oct. 7 with Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, they also can receive an incredible new Pokémon right off the bat,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “This limited-time distribution will get players off to a great start with what is sure to be one of 2012’s biggest games.”
Much like the new distribution in the game, players can also find changes to some of the landmarks themselves. For example, Black Tower can now be found in the Black City, whereas White Treehollow can be found in the White Forest. In both areas high-level Pokémon await your challenge. These places will also introduce randomized layouts, which is something than can add to a unique–yet challenging–player experience. These changes can be seen in the images below.
Pokémon Black VPokemon2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are set to release on October 7, 2012. Check out your local retailer for pre-order information. The game will launch with a price point of $34.99.
UPDATE: To clarify, those who buy the game within the time period will be able to access Genesect. Pre-ordering, based on the retailer, may guarantee a spot for you.
