Ghost Recon Future Soldier to Get Second Batch of DLC
Release Date: September 11, 2012
Price: 1200 Microsoft points, $14.99
Platform: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (*PC at a later date)
After a successful launch of the Arctic Strike DLC pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Ubisoft sets up yet another content pack for the third person shooter. It was announced today that the Raven Strike downloadable content pack will be hitting the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE September 11, 2012.
The content includes a few new maps, but releases with an older undertone. The new content promises to bring back feelings of earlier titles in the series with a higher level of difficulty and larger maps. The promises of more “complex” missions should give even that diehard tactical squad player some pressure.
Here are some of the features you can expect from this DLC pack:
Three new missions in Campaign Mode
- Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)
- Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside
- Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow
New Map in Guerrilla Mode
- Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside
Even from the screens, it looks as though Argent Thunder (the image seen above) looks to be an impressive inclusion into the games current landscape. The Raven Strike dlc will release for 1200 MS Points or US $14.99 on the PlayStation Network. Those who want to pre-order can do so at GameStop and Best Buy retailers.
