They Bleed Pixels is Ready to Get Bloody on Steam
The indie game scene has been a breeding ground for new IP. It is amazing that a small group of friends can create a cult following and sometimes it is just one person hammerin’ away at code. Either way, indie games have made their mark on Xbox LIVE and Steam. We’ve got one more title itchin’ to make another splash in the digital market place. You can bet your hide that it’s going to be a bloody sprinkling of pixels.
Spooky Squid Games announced today that they will be bringing their beat’em up throwback to the Steam market place. Making the jump from the Xbox LIVE Indie Games channel has allowed them some time to revamp the title and add more features. Some of these inclusions are things like achievements and killer graphic comic cut-scenes to move the story along. There will also be leaderboards and cloud saving features so you can hack up a score worth boasting.
“We’re extremely happy to be bringing They Bleed Pixels to Steam. Throughout development other game developers and players have told us that the game really deserves to reach a larger audience and the move to PC and Steam will do just that.” says Miguel Sternberg, Creative Director at Spooky Squid Games. “For those waiting for the release date we’re very close to being able to announce it. We’re just finishing up sound and squashing a few pesky bugs. It’s been a busy year and I think players will really appreciate the additional content and polish.”
There is no release date just yet as the title is still in its development stages. We can expect to see one “soon” as stated by Spooky Squid Games.
