Konami Releases Silent Hill HD Collection Patch

If you’ve played the HD remakes of the Silent Hill franchise, then you are much aware of the frame rate, syncing and other technical issues that were also included in the game. Today, Konami released some good and bad news regarding these issues.

The good news, Konami has released the title update for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network that will address the above issues.

The bad news, plans for the update on the Xbox 360 have been cancelled due to technical issues and resources.

Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, KONAMI issued a title update for Silent Hill HD Collection (PS3), which fixed frame rate issues as well as audio-synching and other reported issues. KONAMI apologizes to any players who are continuing to experience these issues on the XBOX 360 sku.

PlayStation 3 users can download the update today while Xbox 360 users are left in the dark.
