Six New Screens for Injustice Emerge with New Characters

Comic book and fighting fans were somewhat blindsided by the announcement of Injustice: God’ss Among Us. E3 2012 brought on both confusion and excitement for the game. It also opened up a new chapter for NetherRealm Studios to pursue something that didn’t directly involve Mortal Kombat.

Now, what would a comic based game be without, oh, I don’t know, Comic-Con? Well hang on to your bat-britches cause we’ve got a few updates coming your way.

Today, Warner Bros. released a few new screens for the upcoming fighter. They also confirmed that it would be playable at Comic-Con 2012. This is surprising due to the games absence at E3 2012, but comforting knowing that they will do in just the right way. The new screens bring an establishing member of the Justice League, Cyborg. It seems he will play as a heavy hitter, but cyborg looks can be deceiving. Someone else with another batty and dark past will also be slammin’ and strikin’ on screen.

Judging by his dual-handed combat sticks Nightwing looks as though he will be an agile speed character with some killer combo’s.

Check out the screens below for the juicy rundown as these two battle it out like no other. If you are looking to get some hands-on time with Injustice: God’s Among Us at the San Diego Comic-Con then head to DC Entertainment’s booth, #1915.

Injustice: God’s Among Us is set to release in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii U. That is, if the world isn’t pelted by giant meteors and Superman doesn’t save us from sudden death.
