The Last Story Gets A North America Release Date

The RPG being developed by Mistwalker The Last Story will finally be available in North America. A new release date was announced on the XSEED Games’ Twitter page. August 14 will be the new date for what maybe the last great Wii game. Anyone who preorders will receive a softcover art book and a soundtrack CD.
The Last Story has had a hard time getting to American stores. The Japanese RPG from the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, was one of the featured games in the fan-driven project Operation Rainfall. Operation Rainfall tried to get Nintendo to release three RPGs for the Nintendo Wii: Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower. So far, the only one to not have an American release date is Pandora’s Tower.
Editor’s note: The Last Story was released earlier this year on the Wii to favorable reviews. Nintendo has given the publishing rights to XSEED Games.
