Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 Delayed Until Next Year

Gearbox’s latest game in the Brothers in Arms franchise, titled Brothers in Arms: Furious 4, has been delayed, according to Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford, until 2013 at the earliest. In an interview with CVG, Pitchford stated that he “can’t really talk about Furious 4 right now,” but hopes to very soon. The last time the game was seen in public was at E3 2011.

“The game has evolved, I think people are going to be surprised by what they’ll see, and it’s still evolving,” Pitchford said. “One of the reasons why we’re not talking about it now is that it’s evolving and we need to make further changes before we can start talking about it.”

Pitchford said he hopes to talk more about Furious 4 between the releases of Gearbox’s next two games, Borderlands 2 (Sept. 18, 2012) and Aliens: Colonial Marines (Feb. 12, 2013).
