Aren’t ya glad we didn’t say Dogma? Oops! We did. If you managed to pick up Dragon’s Dogma any time in these past few months, then you are in luck my friend. Alongside the release of the title, those fans will also receive access to the Resident Evil 6 demo which has now gone live on Xbox LIVE. Sorry PC and PlayStation 3 fans, you’ll have to play the waiting game instead and hold off until the games official release date of October 2nd, 2012.
The demo opens up the RE 6 business by giving fans the opportunity to play as Leon S. Kennedy. I can say that Leon is definitely one of my favorite characters of the franchise stemming back to the Resident Evil 2 days. According to the news, Leon, alongside Helena Harper, will journey to a blend of worldly places hunting down users of B.O.W weaponry.
In the demo players will see areas such as China and Eastern-Europe while Jake Muller and Sherry Berkin must outrun the clutches of a new bio-threat. The company will also have the opportunity to journey to the Ivy University to witness a college themed zombie encounter. Sherry just so happens to be the daughter of renowned Umbrella Corp scientist, William Berkin. It sounds as though Leon might make it in time to save the two from a newly introduced bioterrorist threat, the Ustanak.
The demo features three missions and is available now on Xbox LIVE to Dragon’s Dogma owners. Others can commence frowning.
