A Half Million Players Signed Up for the Firefall Beta
How do you know that you’re upcoming MMORPG will be popular? Probably when the registered members for your beta reach over 500,000. That’s a big number for those who are confused. Such a large number of registrations is bound to make any studio happy. Just ask Red 5 Studios regarding Firefall.
“The feedback and support from our community has been an integral
part of the development process,” Mark Kern, CEO of Red 5, said in the official press release. “We’re treating Firefall as a service, which means it’s critical that we’re continually adding value and fun for players. Having a large and growing community lets us know that we’re on the right track. But more importantly, their feedback helps us stay on the right track.”
Red 5 announced that the beta is moving out of stage one and will enter stage two shortly. The company plans on sending out a ton of invites to those who have registered, and encourages those who are interested in Firefall to register at the official site as soon as possible.
