Nintendo Airs Special Segment Tonight, Talks Le Business

Nintendo is breakin’ down the video feed once again. Tonight at 9PM PST and June 22, at 12 a.m. EST, the direct feed will kick off news for our current-gen of Nintendo products. This years E3 brought on a direct feed from the Nintendo Press Conference, but it also brought with it video segments about future Nintendo DS and 3DS’ titles later in the show.

There isn’t much known about the video segment tonight. From the actual streaming site we know there is going to be news on the Nintendo “Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS.” There wasn’t a lot of hype surrounding the video segments from E3, but rather confusion as to what exactly Nintendo was doing. With the lack of nitty-gritty for the Wii U, we were kind of hoping for more in regards to the future console.

It also makes us wonder, why would the company talk of all current-gen consoles? Is there a revision to the Nintendo 3DS that we are going to see? Talk of this was merely speculation during E3 with nothing to show for it at the end. It is possible that the company known for revisions to their consoles (i.e. the DS’ line) might have something up its sleeve for Holiday 2012. Well, that and the Wii U launch.

The link to the direct feed can be found here.
