Ōkami HD Announced
The notorious cel-shaded beauty is making its way to an HD upgrade and digital release. A game widely known for its artistic style couldn’t get any more pristine, but it is boasting more than just a higher resolution.
This Ōkami release will also incorporate something that players wish more games on the PlayStation 3 did, which is utilize the PlayStation Move motion controls. For all of you trophy hunters out there, the game will feature an array of new objectives to grab. For those of you who want to play the traditional way, the standard controller is also supported.
For those not familiar with the game, you take on the role of Amaterasu, who is the Japanese goddess of the sun in the Shinto religion (Wikipedia is amazing). Take on the role of a god in the form of a wolf while you rid the land of monsters and harmful creatures. The game previously released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006, but has been long overdue to find its way back to its home console.
There is no release date as of yet, but 2012 is the year it will release for US $19.99.
