Quick, to the eShop! Donkey Kong Jr. has a Mad Dog for Spidey
The zest of E3 2012 has come and gone. It’s now time for business as usual I suppose. This also means that Nintendo is back to releasing plenty of goodies on the eShop. So, what’s in store for this week? Well, it looks like Mad Dog Mccree is barking at your door.
Grab your six-shooter and head on down to the saloon for some rootin’ tootin’ motion video action. Let your stylus do the talking as you lay down the lead in this cowboy shooter. The game will launch for the Nintendo 3DS for US $Price
Bringing the focus away from bad guys sporting holstered pistols, we’ve got Donkey Kong Jr. swingin’ into the shop. The game revisits an easier time when levels were as tough as nails and characters on screen were nothing more than a few blocks colored from a very small pallet to choose from.
A bit ago I played the full arcade version in a standalone unit at a friend’s house. Just be glad this version doesn’t cost you a quarter after each continue. The game will release on the eShop for US $4.99.
Well, right back where we need to be in the action genre, The Amazing Spider-Man demo hits the eShop. Nintendo, for the love of everything gaming–please continue to do this. The library on the eShop has been recently growing, but like other titles releasing on a weekly basis, the demo library continues to support digital downloads. With as much hype as the game is getting, hopefully the movie doesn’t shoot spidey-blanks.
Other honorable mentions include Devil Band-Rock the Underworld and Mega Man X2. All of you Woo’s out there can headbang and get all metal on your Nintendo DSi and Meg Man-up on the Wii Virtual Console.
