E3: Zeno Clash II Announced
I’m a huge fan of Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition. The indie developed game from Chile’s Ace Team takes place in a strange world: everyone calls a giant bipedal bird Father-Mother, lead returning character Ghat takes on bipedal animals in bouts of fisticuffs, and the rest of the trip through visually disturbing lands reminds me of a dream – an acid induced one (not that I’ve ever had one, but this game has got to be pretty darn close to an accurate representation).
Craziness aside, Zeno Clash is a first-person brawler that was quite good. If it was missing anything, it was co-op. Ace Team is remedying this by adding drop-in/drop-out online co-op. Even better is that the world is being expanded, and can now be freely explored.
The sequel will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2013. Check out the trailer below to see some familiar faces, and some oddities that will be found in the new game.
