Vita sells 1.8 million handhelds by end of March 2012
The Vita has officially moved 1.8 million units, according to Sony’s Press Conference today. I am sure that is well below what they anticipated, but still a decent number of systems moved. Sony then made a bold claim that they project that they will move 10 million systems this year, which will certainly lead to some head scratching as the PS3 and Vita haven’t been picking up much steam. The solid price drops of the PSP should help, along with the fact that the PS2 still sold 4.1 million systems last year.
