Nintendo DSi Family Gets Price Drop
There’s only so much that can be done to a car before its time to move on and create a new model. Sure, maybe the line has had a nice run–but it might be time for an overhaul and not simply cosmetic changes. The same type of engineering can be said about the line of Nintendo DS handhelds. It was only a matter of time before we saw a price reduction in two of the last released of its kind–particularly with a new model already making its rounds.
It was announced today that the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSiXL will be seeing a drop in pricing. The Nintendo DSiXL will now run at a US price of $129.99 and the ‘DSi at US $99, which in most placed is still the standing price for the Nintendo DS Lite.
Regardless of how you look at it, there is no better time to pick up the handheld. There are still retailers stocked to the gills with titles and you can’t beat Amazon.
