The New Dishonored Trailer is Intensely Weird and Good
News for Dishonored from Arkane Studios and Bethesda has been coming in small doses. A recent installation shows off some of the games combat via CG video. The system promises to be “flexible” with gadgets and more than just your typical first person shooter experience offers. If the promises hold up and are anything like the trailer–we are in for a hell of a ride.
It sounds like the game is scheming up a nice variety of ways to eliminate your enemies, but also offering up some fulfilling story line decisions. Progression is based on the choices made during each mission, which will have some playing and re-playing just to get a different outcome. The mask that we also see our main character dawn looks like it won’t be just for show.
Dishonored is slated for release in 2012.
