New Screens Emerge For Game of Thrones RPG

Whether you’re a hardcore fan of George R. R. Martin’s magnum opus literary saga A Song of Ice and Fire or just a casual RPG fan, the upcoming Game of Thrones adaptation has something for everyone. From deep mythical story arcs to bloody medieval battles, Cyanide Studio’s upcoming iteration of Martin’s take on high fantasy looks to be quite impressive on many levels.

Six newly released screenshots have emerged, showing off the myriad characters in the game–a grizzled greybeard in full plate giving viewers a stoic gaze that could melt snow, a small look at a cinematic scene, and even a glimpse of the game’s action-based combat.

Game of Thrones is slated for release in early 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
