The Binding of Isaac is one of those games that gets better and better each time you play it–because, in part, the player gets better and better at the game. You’re forced to get better, or lose and re-play from scratch. As ruthless as this Indie favorite may be, it’s a game you can play a hundred times over and not have the same experience twice.
The heart of the game’s enjoyability is largely attributed to the randomly generated items, enemies, and labyrithine dungeons. The new expansion, dubbed The Wrath of the Lamb (or WotL) aims to add even more replayability to the game with heaps of bonus content.
WtoL is slated to add “50% more than what is already in-game“, ranging from new items and power-ups to nightmarish enemies and new twisted dungeons. The new update may be expected in a few months, and it will be the developer’s last DLC update for the game.
According to G4TV, Edmund McMillen has also recently revealed that a port of The Binding of Isaac is to be expected, perhaps for the Nintendo 3DS.
