New Resident Evil Revelations Trailer Asks, “What the FBC?!”
Once again, I just have to make it a point…..I still think Bandersnatch is my favorite Resident Evil enemy names of all time. Now that the immaturity is out of the way–time to join the Redfield’s in their hunt to stop the T-Abyss Virus.
The F.B.C. logo is flashed quite a few times and several hints are dropped about the Head of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), Clive R. O’Brian and Agent Raymond Vester. There are also hints to the shortcomings of the Federal Bioterrorism Commission (FBC). We also get to hear more talk of the mysterious location of Terragrigia and the damnation that goes on there. Of course we can’t forget the blood thirsty monsters and the threat of violence from Veltro and its members. All of these instances are undoubtedly building to an eruption on some unsuspecting citizens.
Although it is noticeable that some of the voice acting may be a little off in this trailer, it is comforting to know that it will be one of the first Resident Evil titles to house five different European voice overs. Hopefully, this will also equivocate to some damn find tuning in the end. The game also promises to bring full use of the newest accessory announcement from Nintendo, which adds an additional swivel-pad to the handheld. The pad has been noted as the Nintendo 3DS Circle Pad Pro as listed on the additional features, and there is also talk that RE: Revelations will be bundled with the device.
*Resident Evil Revelations is slated to release on the Nintendo 3DS February 7, 2012.
