Journey Through The Ruins of Dubai In The New Spec Ops: The Line Trailer

The next thrilling chapter in the Spec Ops series from 2K Games delivers a third person shooter experience like no other with emphasis on squad-based combat. Spec Ops: The Line features exhilarating action-packed combat and a story arc with dramatic overtones inspired from Joseph Conrad’s novella Heart of Darkness.

Rather than continuing the story arcs featured in the previous Spec Ops titles, this upcoming chapter makes use of an all-new plotline that focuses on the rescue of an Army Colonel by an elite Delta Force bravo team from the ruined city of Dubai.

In Spec Ops: The Line players can enjoy co-operative multiplayer missions and a campaign that traverses dynamically changing terrain while facing off against enemy forces. Gamers must battle both man-made and natural environmental hazards like brutal blinding sandstorms that can provide both advantageous and inhibiting strategies during gameplay.

An Xbox 360-exclusive Beta for Spec Ops: The Line had previously been released, however it has been closed since November 15, 2011.

Spec Ops: The Line is slated for a release in 2012. For more information please visit the game’s official website.
