Starbreeze Studios resurrects the classic Syndicate franchise and adapts it into an explosive sci-fi shooter fit for today’s next-gen consoles. The newest gameplay trailer exhibits the upcoming title’s singleplayer action, giving gamers an exclusive look at what they can expect from EA’s futuristic revamped take on the franchise.

In the newest trailer Jeff Gamon, EA’s executive producer for Syndicate, narrates the footage and explains many of the features and functions of the high-tech shooter. Jeff plays through an early mission of the singleplayer campaign called Executive Search and explores everything from the impressive graphics and environments to the myriad upgrades and neural chip enhancements.

In this trailer gamers can see a first-hand playthrough of the mission and are introduced to the title’s HUD interface as well as a few of the key gameplay elements–like upgrade enhancements and mission parameters–that are used throughout their journey in Syndicate’s futuristic world.

Taking place in a modern high-tech dystopia where corporations and businesses rule the economy and the world, Syndicate’s story arc revolves around assassins known as “agents” who are charged with taking out high priority targets and neutralizing any competitors that pose a threat to a particular syndicate or corporation’s success.
