Introducing JForce: Unstoppable

JForce Games is an Independent XNA development team that has been working on their swan song title JForce: Unstoppable for quite some time. Focusing on arcade-style action, the upcoming Xbox Indie shooter will feature a number of enjoyable elements to keep players entertained, including fast-paced and frenetic firefights where gamers have to fight for their survival against hordes of oncoming enemies.

While the Xbox Indie Games Marketplace is full of titles similar to this game, JForce: Unstoppable promises a gameplay experience akin to Alpha Squad from Dragon Divide (which happens to be one of my personal favorite XBLIG’s) with it’s intense shooter action. With cartoonish anime-styled sprites and graphics the game takes on a classic vintage feel which can be related to old-school NES titles, and keeps the signature XBLIG feel that gamers enjoy.

Check below for a features list and a description taken right from the game’s official launch trailer:

In-Game Features:

  • 40+ unique weapons
  • Play story mode with a friend via online co-op
  • Online deathmatch/capture the flag, up to 8 players
  • Endless Survival Mode
  • Level Editor

Jermaine Uberheimer is on a quest to find what he values most in life, but he may run into trouble along the way in this action-packed top-down shooter, featuring more weapons than you can imagine and a story you will never forget.

JForce: Unstoppable is slated to be released in late 2012 for multiple platforms including iOS, Android, WP7, XBLIG and PC. For more information on JForce: Unstoppable please visit the developer’s official website.
