Doom & Destiny Now Available On Xbox Indies Marketplace

Remember those classic turn-based RPG’s like Phantasy Star and of course the early Final Fantasy titles? Well get ready to relive those glory days with a new Xbox Indie set in the style of J-RPG’s with a host of awesome features like bit-style graphics and RPG dynamics that will keep gamers entertained for hours.

Doom & Destiny from Independent XNA Studio HeartBit Interactive brings a fresh new way to enjoy old favorites, and J-RPG enthusiasts will no-doubt be pleased by the game’s expansive elements including a myriad of different environments and worlds as well as an interactive party/EXP system that mirrors what gamers would expect from a classic RPG experience.

Additionally, Doom & Destiny is one of the ten selected finalists in the Indie Games Summer Uprising event, and is the only RPG to be selected. While I’m the type of gamer who would like to see more RPG’s on the Marketplace, this game is a fantastic addition to the under-populated genre. Hopefully we’ll see more games like this in the future.

Doom & Destiny is now available on the Xbox Live Indie Games Marketplace for 80 MSP ($1).

There are two errors: the game is developed by Benjamin Ficus Production and HeartBit Interactive.
Also the game should cost 240 MSP not 80.

Its 240 msp not 80. I bought it last night. Its fun but either I am doing something wrong or its kind of difficult.

took me a little while to figure the learning curve out as well. be sure to change your tatics, such as your party leader, depending on the situation. that will help alot!

also, be sure to read the instructions in the players menu for other helpful hints.
