Top 10 Finalists Announced for the Indie Games Summer Uprising
The community-organized Indie Games Summer Uprising event may not have been officially coordinated by Microsoft, however it has been the focus of some of the best Xbox Indie developers on the marketplace today. Many of the most prestigious XBLIG studios have submitted titles in the event–over 70 games in all–which have been refined into a list of the best of the best.
These Top 10 Finalists have been recently announced along with the release schedule for each of the games that were selected. Additionally, the community was responsible for nominating two of the ten selections, giving the fans a chance to pick what game they’d like to see “win” the event. This isn’t a competition, moreso a promotional event, and the developers who come in the top 10 positions don’t win anything other than media coverage.
