I would first like to say that as I wrote the title for this article, I couldn’t believe what was being written as I typed. But hey, if Spawn can be paired against Nightmare and Kilik, I guess old Freddy isn’t that much of a stretch. Looking at the trailer, it almost looks as if he has been sharpening his claws for a chance at taking the Kombatants down.
The master of nightmares, Freddy Krueger, is the next DLC character for Mortal Kombat. He is available on Xbox LIVE and the PSN today for $4.99 (400 MSP).
