Nintendo Sets Sights on Zelda Site and Contest.
Zelda has been a staple of not only Nintendo as a story teller and history as a company, but has shaped many aspects in general for games of the genre. This particular story of our hero and princess have made quite the journey over the years. Nintendo is celebrating Link, and many others with a 25th anniversary web site. Nintendo3DS owners and fans got their hands on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to kick start the whole shabang.
Speaking of shabangs, and no not she bangs, Zelda will also be gracing us with musical finesse via live concert. Handpicked songs from music creator Kuji Kondo will fill the airwaves of a live performance nearest you later this year.
There is something else out there for fans that are looking for a little more hands on approach to the whole music scene. Players who own a DSi or DSiXL can utilize their Flipnote Studio application and submit their own creation of Zelda animation. The templates offered have been selected from The Legend of Zelda series over time.
Winners of the contest will be evaluated and scoped out by key Nintendo developers-with such names as Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka, Eiji Aonuma and Yoshiaki Koizumi. Don’t worry, not too much pressure here.
These winners will be posted for fans to enjoy on the 25th anniversary site on or around October 14th. Their entries will make their way on to the Nintendo Wii Channel, and Flipnote Hatena on the DSi and DSiXL consoles. The Legend of Zelda™: Four Swords for the Nintendo DSi, DSiXL and 3DS. Players will be able to access this title for the instant price of USD free ninety-nine.
Make sure to check out the official site for details and rules. Enjoy!
