E3 2011: The Gunstringer Preview
You can call Twisted Pixel anything you want but you can never say the folks behind such classics as ‘Splosion Man and Comic Jumper are uncreative. The Gunstringer is the team’s first Kinect title and it is classified as a marionette-based Kinect platformer/shooter. In the game, players control a gun-toting cowboy marionette with their hands. You simple hold out your hands in front of you like you would hold a puppet, and the rest is cake.
From the release:
Through a series of on stage performances, you puppeteer the Gunstringer in a western-themed revenge story. Taking cues from classic spaghetti westerns all the way to modern revenge tales, players will puppeteer the Gunstringer through a wide range of jaw-dropping moments in order to seek revenge on the posse that betrayed him and left him for dead.
The game will support up to two players for dropin/drop-out co-op gameplay. The Gunslinger is filled with extra features such as “collectables, unlockables, abilities, rewards and more.”
