Third Volley of Attacks on PSN Planned

Hackers purportedly aren’t finished with the damaged PSN, and have been planning a third wave of attacks against the already-damaged PlayStation Network.

According to an observer in the IRC channel utilized by the hacking group, the hackers are planning another volley of cyber-attacks to be unleashed this weekend.

The hackers plan to publicize all or some of the information that¬† they are able to retrieve from Sony’s PSN servers, which may include customer names, credit card numbers, and addresses. The hackers claim they currently already have access to some of Sony’s servers.

Will this cripple the already devastated PlayStation Network or will Sony be able to thwart the third attack? GAMINGtruth will keep users updated on more news in the unrelenting attacks on Sony’s PlayStation Network.
