NCAA 2012 Gameplay Preview and First-Fan Selected Athlete

It wasn’t long ago that former Alabama star Mark Ingram was wondering if he would be ever so present on the cover of EA Sport’s NCAA Football 12. While the standout was pitted against Auburn University defensive lineman, Nick Fairley, University of Oklahoma running back, DeMarco Murray, and University of Washington quarterback, Jake Locker, it was in the hands of voters now to decide his legendary NCAA cover fate. Die hard fans and teammates alike were given the first ever chance to vote for their favorite player to grace the cover in the coming year. The “U Want Me” campaign furnished a fan favorite, which there is no doubt that the Alabama Crimson Tide more than likely flooding the voting polls.
While the cover is one of the most important aspects to games in the genre, similar to the familiarity artists find making it to the cover of Rolling Stone, there are many other details to pay attention to. Possibly things like gameplay, accurate team stats, or maybe even this years additive to improve the franchise. There are still many aesthetics to the franchise that have yet to be seen in an NCAA title. For example, here are some of the defined improvements that EA Sports is boasting for this season. The important ones are highlighted:
* 3-Dimensional Grass
* Pro-Combat Uniforms
* High Dynamic Range Rendering (HDR) and Dynamic Exposure Lighting
