Free Game Alert: Mass Effect 2

Bioware could probably charge $150 for Mass Effect 2, in perpetuity, and it would still sell. It’s just that good. They’re feeling generous though, and handing it out for free.

To celebrate the tremendous sales of Dragon Age II (it passed the million-sold mark in less than two weeks), anyone who purchased Dragon Age II, on any platform, is entitled to a free download of the PC version of Mass Effect 2.

One caveat: You must have purchased Dragon Age 2 and redeemed the Online Pass prior to April 30th. If you bought the game used, you can still get Mass Effect 2 if you purchased the Online Pass separately.

All of the pertinent details can be found on Bioware’s website, conveniently linked in those funny blue words found earlier in this sentenced. Just click it, go on, and play one of the best games of this generation.
