Resident Evil 4, Code Veronica Being Remastered

Capcom will give Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica an HD makeover in the upcoming Biohazard: Revival Selection. Biohazard (known as Resident Evil on this side of the pond) was first spotted in an issue of Japan gaming magazine, Famitsu. The collection will be released on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan, but nothing has been said of a U.S. release.

Welcome back, Ada.

The collection will come with the version of Resident Evil 4, a game originally released in 2005, that contains the Separate Ways side story called The Another Order, which features the ever awesome badass Ada Wong. Code Veronica came out in 2000, and was one of my favorite games on the Sega Dreamcast. Instead of focusing on Leon and Ada, Veronica followed the exploits of Chris and Claire Redfield in what I think is one of the best games in the series.

Hopefully we see a release date for the U.S. We’ll keep you posted on anything else included in the HD versions.
