Crysis 2 Multiplayer Goes Live, Again
That’s right, Crysis 2’s multiplayer will be laying it down for the first time on PC and again on the Xbox 360. March 1st will mark the day that PC and Xbox 360 owners will be sliding, stealth killing, and leaping on top of buildings in a single bound. Last month alone for the Xbox 360 multiplayer demo, a reported 1.7 million stealth and power suited-it-up-killers hit up the online multiplayer. I don’t know if there is anyone else out there that is as happy as I am with this news, but definitely looking to jump back into some familiar rooftop territory.
After getting some hands on with the Crysis 2 multiplayer some time around mid January and then again for the open demo on Xbox LIVE, it is definitely going to be on my “addicted to” list. Although some gamers have noticed similarities and compared it between games like Call of Duty and Halo, the team at Crytek look to take user feedback and only make the game better. It already takes some of the best things that you know about online FPS’s and created a unique blend of weaponry and abilities. It is a little sad that PlayStation 3 owners are left out in the cold with only the “multiplayer coming soon” announcement. This is a little disappointing considering that the release date for Crysis 2 is March 22, 2011.
Here is what you can look forward to in the new demo release:
* 2 maps will be available in the release. Skyline and Pier-17.
* The modes “Instant Action” and “Crash Site” will again be available.
