As a kid, I remember going to my grandmothers house and playing with a set of matryoshka doll’s. There were plenty of times where army men were smashed inside in order to spring attacks on unsuspecting X-Men. What makes this story even weirder is that my grandmother is not Russian nor has she ever visited the “Mother Land.” I always wondered why she had them on such proud display?
The stories or simple uniqueness as to why this dolls are still around is a wonder. Not only that, they have left the physical world only to be created another. This time in a more important medium of art. A Video game.
THQ and Double Fine Productions (Costume Quest) have joined together in a fine display where art meets puzzler, meets a creative design idea, stuffed inside a console. And of course it is tucked inside of a shell, of a shell, of another shell, and delivered to you, the gamer.
