Dungeon Siege III Releasing on May 31st
Forsooth, Square-Enix has verily decreed that Dungeon Siege III shall be birthed unto the firmament on the 31st day of the fifth month…
Err, more plainly, it’s coming out in North America on May 31st, and it will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
This Obsidian-developed action RPG will hew closely to its predecessors, with a larger emphasis on cooperative play on your quest to save the kingdom of Ehb. You’re still killing things with swords to get better swords, but now a friend can watch and/or help.
Reserving the game at Gamestop will net you an in-game ring and talisman that your increase attack and defense respectively. Amazon will give you a poison ring, while Best Buy will give your character the ability to recover a little health while in duress.
The sweetest deal appears to be on Steam, where pre-purchasing Dungeon Siege III will entitle you to a free download of Dungeon Siege I and Dungeon Siege II.
Jason Statham was unavailable for comment.
